I was very blessed to grow up in a Christian household with parents who made church and family a priority. I can’t really say there was a single event that changed my life but getting baptized at the age of 8 was when I knew I wanted to live my life through Christ.

Ever since I can remember playing sports has been a significant part of my life. Sports can put a lot of pressure on you, and the one thing that has helped me through it is knowing that God is always in control. My father told me at a very young age that the only thing I can control is my attitude and effort, and that you can’t control the outcome. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and that God has an awesome plan. I just finished my first year in professional baseball and it was a great experience. I don’t know what my future holds, but I am excited because I know that whatever unfolds, God will be with me every step of the way. God has blessed me with the talent, and I’m just trying to shine through Him and give Him all the glory… Praise the Lord.
